Everyone in the know always say how links from other (good quality) websites are what gets you ranking high in the search engines. However, if you are a small website with very little current visitors then how do you get links? Well there are different methods to do this, some deemed more ‘dodgy’ than others, but all requiring a fair amount of work.

A recent blog post by Cyrus Shepard on MOZ offers some really interesting advice on alternatives to link building. You are always recommended to have good quality content on your website, and if you can update or add new content relatively regularly then this is always going to be a positive thing. This is why having a blog on your website is a good idea.
