Direct links to things discussed in the video:

  • Dreamhost web hosting (20% off using this link)
  • StudioPress themes (view 50+ professional themes)
  • MailChimp (email newsletter software/website)

Costs to setup your own website:

  • Web hosting approximately £8/month
  • Domain registration approximately £10/year
  • Professional website theme approximately £80 one-off fee

Total Cost approximately £100 initial payment plus £8/month. Additional £10 annual domain registration cost.

This works out at an initial cost of £100 and annual costs of £106 (years web hosting plus domain name registration).

Would you like me to setup this up for you?

Initial cost £249. Annual costs £80 (for web hosting and domain name registration).

I WILL:
As shown in the video above, I will take care of web hosting, domain registration, WordPress install, and the set up of your premium WordPress theme (i.e. any theme on the StudioPress website – click here to browse all available themes).

Your website will look identical to the demo websites on StudioPress (open up any theme and click ‘live demo’).

I WILL NOT:
I will not create a unique website with original copy and images.
I will not create custom posts and pages on your website.

Make your own WordPress website tutorial 2016

The video goes through the entire process of setting up a brand new website from scratch. In the first 10 minutes web hosting is bought, a domain name is registered, and WordPress is installed and the website is live on the internet.

We then install a professional standard StudioPress WordPress theme and the rest of the video shows how to format and style the theme so it looks identical to the ‘demo’ site on StudioPress.

The StudioPress themes work with their Genesis Framework, which adds stabiliy and functionality to your theme. The Genesis Framework is also installed in this video tutorial.

All copy (i.e. text) and images are taken directly from the ‘demo’ website because we are simply creating an exact copy. What this shows is how to configure and style the Maker Pro theme (the StudioPress theme used in the video) so that you can modify any text or images to get your original version of this particular theme.

Programs and software used in this WordPress website tutorial

  • Dreamhost web hosting (20% off using this link)
  • StudioPress themes (50+ professional themes)
  • MailChimp (email newsletter software)
