Extra SEO options with the Genesis Framework

By Neil on May 12, 2014

The Genesis Framework is a platform that sits on top of a standard WordPress install and adds extra features and security. In this video I quickly walk though (< 5mins) the extra search engine optimisation (SEO) options and features you get once the Genesis Framework is installed. On top of the standard WordPress tabs in the dashboard you get a special Genesis tab that allows to to define general settings and and website settings. There is also a specific SEO tab where you can input important site-wide SEO options, such as home page headings and description and various meta data features. In addition to this there are areas included on posts and pages to specifying SEO headings and descriptions so you can optimise your posts and pages for search engines. These additional SEO options make setting up your website much easier and ensure you are creating content that is easy for both real people and search engines to read. Visit StudioPress to learn more about the Genesis Framework and all of its benefits for WordPress websites.
