A lot of my time has been spent on my Amazon Japan business, both the services side where we help businesses list their products in Japan and also manage their accounts.
We have spoken on the phone to a few potential clients and things are very positive. 2 or 3 companies have showing strong intent and it has really highlighted the benefit of actually picking up the phone and speaking with people. Not only has this improved trust in our company but it also helps us understand what our customers want and we have already got 2 or 3 new levels to add to our service.
Away from Japan I have been doing a lot of optimization of my UK Amazon listings. I have done extensive keyword research, updating of back end keywords, and updating of copy on the bullets and titles. I have also increased sales prices of my products to improve margins and started a new PPC sponsors listings campaign.
Finally I have audited my MailChimp list of my e-Commerce business to remove over 900 inactive email subscribers. This will reduce my monthly bill by 2 tiers and it will also mean a higher engagement with my audience in the future.
